Transferable Skills in the Job-hunting Process

Why?

Skills in their wider definition are recognized by the European Union as part of informal education; the European job market experts consider that these are often the differentiating trait between job applicants. Transferable skills in particular, are regarded as the key element that complements a person’s academic / work profile and makes them better qualified for a position. However, this trend in both the education and professional contexts is not very widely known.

What?

This seminar aims to explain what transferable skills are and illustrate their significance on the Job hunting process. Moreover, it helps attendants to identify their skills, accurately describe and substantiate them, and present them effectively in their CV. Interview techniques on how to demonstrate and support one’s skills are also included.
