Welcome to my website!

I am an Associate Professor of Language Teaching Methodology in the School of German Language and Literature of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

I graduated from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (School of Philology, specialization in Linguistics) in 2004. I have an MA and a PhD in Education Sciences. I have received scholarships for post-doc research at the Institute of Education, Heidelberg University of Education (2011-2012) from DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) and at the School of Philosophy and Education (2012-2013) and the School of German Language and Literature (2016-2017), Faculty of Philosophy, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki Research Committee. I have taught undergraduate and graduate courses, as an adjunct lecturer, at various Greek universities (Democritus University of Thrace, University of Western Macedonia, University of the Aegean, and Aristotle University of Thessaloniki) and at the Heidelberg University of Education. I have published articles in scientific journals, chapters in edited books, papers in scientific congresses and translations. My scientific and research interests are focused on issues of Language Teaching Methodology, Teacher Education, Intercultural Education, Educational Research and Pedagogical Lexicography. I am proficient in English, German, French and Turkish.

  • 08/2017 – 2019                 Lexicographic editing of the electronic Dictionary of Sports Sciences (http://www.phed.uoa.gr/fileadmin/phed.uoa.gr/uploads/Diafora/LEXIKO_EPISTIMON_TOY_ATHLITISMOY.pdf), which includes more than 1.000 lemmas; every lemma is accompanied by an English translation and a brief definition.
