I am a secondary education teacher of Informatics (currently at Gymnasium of Loutro), a phd candidate working with the SWENG group at the Department of Informatics of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and a contributor to two important European IST projects (SQO-OSS and FLOSSMETRICS).

Research
My main research interests rely on the field of Software Engineering, especially on subjects such as Software Quality, Measurment and Emperical Software Engineering. Particularly I am interested in Free/Libre/Open Source Software (FLOSS) development and the quality of the software that is produced by this way. The subject of my undergraduate dissertation was "Analysis of the Maintainability of Open Source Software". In that dissertation, I have conducted an emperical study of the maintainability of four OSS projects, through their successive versions, and one comparative study of the maintainability of one FLOSS against a traditional one (through their successive versions), that both perform the same functionality.
