Our major analytical tool is LC-MS

We utilise UPLC in order to exploit it superior separation power.

UPLC is combined with a hybrid QTOF

(Waters Q micro) and a hybrid triple quadropole linear ion trap (Q 4000, API SCIEX).

For more specialised analysis, data is acquired in Orbi Trap MS (Thermo), Agilent TOF-MS or the QTOF premier (Waters).

GC-MS analysis is done in a Waters GC-TOF-MS.

NMR spectroscopy is performed on a Bruker 600 MHz.

LC-MS data is treated with a variety of specially developed software tools for peak finding and alignment: MarkerView, MarkerLynx, MZMine, Mass Profiler.

The generated peak tables are analysed in PCA and then also in PLS-DA using SIMCA P11.

A typical workflow of our research is given here.
