Essays may be delivered also in prof. Baltzis' post box on the first floor or submitted through e-mail. However, a hard copy and attendance on the exam date are absolutely necessary.
Important notice!
- Students of ninth semester and above may be examined on the courses they owe (Mass Communication and the Arts, Music Industry and Culture) and on the same date, under the condition that they have included them in the courses declaration.
- A written exam is required for the assessment in Mass Communication and the Arts. The required texts are the same with the last exam session:
a) John Walker: Art in the Age of Mass Media. Thessaloniki: University Studio Press, 2010 (Introduction, Chapters 1-6, until p. 200).
b) Nikolas Vernikos et al. - eds. (2005): Cultural Industries. Processes, Services, Goods. Athens: Kritiki. Chapters:
- Alexandra Bounia: "Museums as Cultural Industries: Issues and Questions - A Preliminary Discussion" (pp. 39-58).
- Filimon Badimaroudis, Irini Pitsaki: "The Greek Book Industry" (pp. 109-125).
- Nikos Boubaris: "The Music Industry in Transition" (pp. 225-247).
- A written essay is required for the course Music Industry and Culture, according to the instructions given during the classes and complying with the guidelines described here.
