Linear and nonlinear time series analysis, multivariate time series analysis, variable selection methods, dimension reduction methods, time series correlation, Granger causality, analysis of multivariate time series, non-parametric methods, non-stationarity, randomization tests, resampling methods, Monte Carlo simulations, complex networks from connectivity measures, dynamical systems, chaos, independence and nonlinearity tests, prediction, meta-analysis.

Applications: Portfolio construction, analysis of financial time series and electroencephalograms (EEG), logistics, international health.
