I am an Electrical and Computer Engineer working at the Directorate of Telecommunications, Networks and Computer Infrastructure of the Technical University of Crete (TUC). I hold a Diploma (2000) and a PhD (2006) from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh). My PhD thesis focused on ways of ‘modulating’ base station antennas in order to maximize capacity of wireless wideband networks.

During my graduate studies, I participated in various research projects (1999 - 2006) in the areas of biomedical engineering and wireless communication and also gained some teaching experience (2001-2005). On July 2006, I joined the Directorate of Computerization (AUTh), where I provided software support on Human Resources, Accounting and Payroll infrastructure. Since September 2009, I am a member of the Information Systems Centre of TUC and have been involved in information technology services.
