I am an assistant professor of remote sensing and GIS applications in Agriculture, affliated with the Faculty of Agriculture of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece.

My research is centered around the use of satellite images for monitoring the natural and agricultural environment, employing digital image analysis techniques and statistical methods to explore vegetation, soil and surface water parameters. My recent interests are focused on the influence of changing spatial and temporal scales of satellite observations, precision farming, and soil and vegetation spectroscopy.

Details about my research as well as my hobbies are available on the following web pages.
