I was born in Thessaloniki , Greece in 1976. I received the diploma and the PhD degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering both from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh) , School of Electrical & Computer Engineering in 2000 and 2005 respectively, under the supervision of Prof. Leonidas Georgiadis. My Ph.D. thesis title is "Management of traffic flow in order to maintain quality of service (QoS)". I am now with the teaching personnel of the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering of AUTh.
My research interests include information routing, resource management and network design. Since 2000, I have participated in nine research programmes, some of which are:
From 2006 to 2014, I was a member of the "Computerization Department" of AUTh. My main focus was to enhance or develop software related to the administrative operation of the University. As a consequence, I gained significant experience on databases, web-applications and cross-platform programming.
