I hold a PhD in the area of Artificial Intelligence from the Department of Informarics, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. I also hold both a B.Sc. and a M.Sc. in Information Systems from the same department.

I am a member of Intelligent Systems and Knowledge Processing (ISKP) team which is part of the Logic Programming and Intelligent Systems (LPIS) Group of the Department of Informatics, in the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece.

My research interests are mainly focused on Semantic Web and Intelligent Agents. More specifically, I am interested in Intelligent Multi-Agent Systems issues, including among others Trust Management, Knowledge Representation and Reasoning, Logic, Rule-based and Object-oriented programming, Ontologies and Rules.

I am working on a framework for interacting Intelligent Agents in the Semantic Web, called EMERALD. Additionally, I am working on trust management issues and cross-community interoperation between the EMERALD and other multi-agent systems.
