I am a postdoctoral researcher in the Parallel and Distributed Systems Group (PDSG) at the Department of Informatics of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, under the supervision of Professor Helen D. Karatza.

I received the BSc degree in Informatics from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece in 2006 and the MSc degree in Advanced Computing from Imperial College London, UK in 2007. I received the PhD degree in Computer Science from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece in 2014, under the supervision of Professor Helen D. Karatza.
My research interests include:
  • Scheduling algorithms
  • Real-time, QoS-aware, energy-efficient, data-aware and fault-tolerant scheduling heuristics
  • Cloud computing
  • Modeling, discrete-event simulation and performance evaluation of distributed systems
