Diploma degree in Chemistry 1999

Ph.D 2004 from the Chemistry Dep. of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki on the development of analytical methods for the determination of endogenous compounds.

Postdoctoral research on “Novel post Genomic bioanalytical technologies of metabonomics in biomedical research and drug discovery” in the Department of Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics in AstaZeneca Pharmaceuticals, Alderley Park, UK.

In 2008 she received a Marie Curie European Reintegration Grant on "Advanced bioanalytical technologies for systems biology studies" to return back to Aristotle University.

From 2011 she is a lecturer in the Department of Chemical Engineering in the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Her research interests are mainly in bioanalysis with emphasis on metabolite profiling with Mass Spectrometry techniques (LC-MS, GC-MS). She is the author or co-author of 39 peer reviewed articles and 10 book chapters.

From 2016 she is a Lecturer in the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in the Laboratory of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology.
