The research within the framework of QUADIEEMS project is implemented in two institutions the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) in Thessaloniki, Greece and the Max Planck Institute for Chemistry (MPIC) in Mainz, Germany. For the purposes of the project a Postdoctoral Researcher (Dr Aristeidis K. Georgoulias) works with MPIC for a 16-month period (2/3 of the project) in close collaboration with Dr Ulrich Pöschl the founding Director of the Multiphase Chemistry Department. The rest 1/3 of the project (8 months) is implemented at the Department of Meteorology and Climatology, School of Geology of AUTH in close collaboration with Dr Prodromos Zanis. Georgia Alexandri (PhD candidate) and Christos Ntogras (postgraduate student) from AUTH also work within QUADIEEMS as well as external collaborators (unofficial partners) such as Dr Konstantinos Kourtidis from the Department of Environmental Engineering, Democritus University of Thrace (DUTH), Xanthi, Greece.
